Repair Policy:
If you need to have your moped repaired, call our shop at 718-389-1979 and speak with someone about the repair before bringing it in to the shop. We have limited space in our shop and are unable to take in too many at once. We will put your name on a list and we will call you a few days before we're ready for you.
Repair Rates:
Repairs are done on an hourly basis, at $60 per hour. The first hour of work must be paid for up front when your moped is dropped off at the shop. We will call you at the end of the first hour, and either tell you that the moped is ready to go, or we will let you know what will be involved to get it back on the road again.
Flat Rate Repairs:
Certain things are done on a flat rate basis. Here is a list of those things:
- Tire or Tube change: $15 per wheel.
- Puch E50 Engine Rebuild: $300
- Minarelli V1 Engine Rebuild: Call for price and timeframe
Moped Rental as Film or Photo Prop:
We will rent a moped to you as a prop for $200 per day. You must bring one of our techs along with you, and only the tech will be involved in handling the moped. The day rate for the tech is $150. Mopeds rented as props must be returned within the same day as the original pickup. We do not do delivery. You must pick up the moped from the shop. Call us for more information.
Winter moped storage
We will store your moped inside our shop for the winter months, beginning and ending when you choose. Once your moped is here in the shop for the winter, it is also a great time to take advantage of lower winter rates for repairs and upgrades!
Winter storage rates:
- Storage, paid up front at the time of drop off: $60 per month.
- Storage, paid monthly: $75 per month, paid no later than the 5th of each month.
- Hourly labor rate for repairs and upgrades while in storage: $45 per hour.
